SecureRF Named Arm TechCon 2018 Innovation Award Finalist for Design Team of the Year
SecureRF Corporation announced that its design team, led by Chief Scientist Dr. Iris Anshel, was named a 2018 Arm TechCon Innovation Award finalist for the “Design Team of the Year”.
Developing cryptographic algorithms for real-world deployment requires a multidisciplinary team approach. The SecureRF design team, winner of last year’s “Best Contribution to IoT Security” award, includes mathematicians, cryptographers, and engineers solving the hardest security problems for the smallest Arm processors in the IoT.
The team leverages Group Theoretic Cryptography (GTC) to develop ultra-fast and low-energy Public Key primitives that enable innovative future-proof secure boot and processor-to-processor security solutions for the most demanding connected platforms including automotive, industrial, and supply chain.
“We are delighted to be recognized for the second year in a row by the Arm TechCon Innovation Awards,” said Louis Parks, SecureRF’s Chairman and CEO. “The pioneering work by Dr. Anshel and implementation leadership of our CTO Derek Atkins is delivering the most advanced security methods for Arm, including a secure boot solution for the automotive sector for which we are being recognized.”
The Arm TechCon Innovation Awards program celebrates leading-edge Arm-based technologies that have spawned new applications and sparked innovation in systems design. Arm TechCon, the world’s leading conference and exhibition showcasing Arm-based technologies, will be held October 16-18 at the San Jose Convention Center.
SecureRF experts will be in booth 923 throughout the conference. The SecureRF booth will feature a demonstration of company’s security solutions running on Arm’s newly introduced Cortex-M23 processor, which Arm calls “the smallest and most energy efficient implementation of its Cortex-M line of processors.”
